Unibelt apron feeders are used to transport packaged materials and, unlike scraping chain conveyors, the product is conveyed on the upper section.
The driving element consists of a double or triple chain with bushes and pins, supported, every 3 or 4 pitches, by wheels fitted with bearings and gaskets. The conveying surface is made with shaped plates that are suitably reinforced and attached to the chains with special pins. Carbon steel edges are welded onto the ends of the plates and ensure the product is contained along the whole conveying section.
These conveyors are available in a flat, flat and tilted, tilted setup, can move on tracks and may be fitted with hoppers and kibbler rolls.
